Ok, so she has a face full of tomato sauce from her spaghetti lunch, but the look on her face is priceless!

That and the yellow glass makes her look like a throw back from the 70's! Well she has the little sailor outfit to complete that picture! (not that is actually fits her anymore)

She got her first mosquito bite tonight, on her arm. She is laying in bed, finishes her milk, rolls over and says 'Mummy? Arm hurts'
So I say - 'is it itchy' and lightly scratch her hand to make the point
'uh-huh'

Light on, sure enough, huge bite on her lower arm, realised that I didnt get any Stingose. so Tea Tree Oil took the sting out and made her forget about it for a little while, I seem to be killing about 3 a day in the house and I still dont know where they are getting in, or coming from >:|

I feel like I should print myself a certificate that proclaims 'I AM OVER BEING PREGNANT'

I can sleep better as Little Miss has turned spine to spine, but I am totally past it now, just want her out and my body back! (As shoddy as it is, it is still mine and I am sick of being an incubator)

Well that is enough or a rant for me, I got up because after an hour and a half stinky had refused to do anything apart from roll over onto my pillow or try and grab my hand and hug it.

I will go back in about 40 mins and she will be sound asleep, thus I can also do some sleeping of my own!

Not much to say really

Stinky's potty training is going well, we have had 2 days now with no nappies and only one small accident.

I started to clean up the kitchen today to help out Mike, it is starting to resemble something I would actually like to cook in! ie clean mess free benchtops!

Still so very very tired, slept in until 11.30 today and then went back to bed at 1.15 with Stinky for her nap. I could have fallen asleep again tonight but Stinky was playing silly buggers (sitting up, singing, prodding me, pulling the sheet up over her head and generally being a nuisance)

Really really wanted that pram that I saw in Big W, but when we looked at the amount of layby's (no, not just Stinky's) we decided that it was probably money better spent elsewhere. *mutters something about mikes power bench and shaver costing so much - then stops whining*

Going to have to go and get some more hotwheels cars, (potty car) she is earning almost 2 a day now! Cant resist giving her one when she does a dookie!

Had to laugh at Aunty Lou today, apparently I am not allowed to go into labour Mon, Tues or Wed. (she is in Perth) Nor Fri night as she flys out to Melbourne as she and Uncle Rob are going to see 'Wicked' the musical.

That leaves me tonight, tomorrow and Thursday... I told her I aint crossing my legs for anyone!

anyway, its late, I am hungry and thirsty again... time for a computer break!

Today I attempted to brush out the mangy tangle of knots in Ali's hair (and my own)

Having managed to get it pretty much knot free and considering she was still standing there I thought 'Hey, what the heck' and I tried to put it up in a pony tail.

Well it worked! Not very well mind you, but it worked none the less!

So then we tried piggy tails as well! And they sort of worked as well, although I had to brush out all her curls!


And here is a last pic of her with wet hair from the other night, looking oh so impressed!



At least the camera is working again, I wasnt looking forward to taking it to the labour room only to find that the silly thing goes kaput on us!

Last Potty Update for a bit

ok, getting sick of saying what a GREAT little girl we have :)

tonight she is sitting on the potty for well over 30 mins and I keep on asking her if she has done a weewee yet, she shakes her head at me, until eventually she proclaims 'YAY! WEEWEE!' I check and there is about 2 drops in there, but it warrants enough to be given a potty car and she happily puts on her nappy and wanders off to play.

Less than 10 mins later she comes back and says 'weewee?' so we rip off her nappy, she jumps on the potty and lets fly with a torrent! She then picks up the double decker bus that she got for her first attempt - holds it high and says - 'POTTY BUS! WEEWEE!'

Such a cutie!

Seems that potty training may just go a little easier than I thought. We might even try a few No Nappy days and see how she goes... fingers crossed we dont have too many accidents!

SUCCESS! Another Dookie! We were proud to burst.. well Mike was proud enough to gag... sheeze they smell bad!

All this week Stinky has been out of sorts, sleeping for 3 hours at her mid-day nap and waking at strange hours. Guessing it has something to do with daylight saving, but who knows?

Nothing much exciting to report other than that.. wow - the high-light of my week, my daughter did a dookie in her potty...

Anyways, its late, I am going to have some more chocolate sorbet (yes, we still have some left!)
